Resolution - Make sure the LCD has a native resolution that matches your video card. The native resolution of an LCD is important, because if the LCD has to scale the image to fit a different resolution, it won't look as good.

Price - Obviously price is an important factor in the choice. Now it is available a wide range of brands at different prices. Not always a higher price means higher image quality, even if it is probable. Other factors that could affect the price are the presence or not of a digital terrestrial decoder and, off course, the brand of the LCD TV. Basically the most renowned manufacturers, other things being equal, sell their products at higher prices and the quality could be pretty much the same as LCD TV manufactured by less renowned brands.
